About a year ago I stopped bothering to keep the many download
reference sites up to date. I am now fully dependent on search
engines.

Visits to my main application site www.easynn.com have gone down by
about 50%. New visits have gone up by about 20%, downloads have gone
up by about 10% and sales are about the same.

It looks like there is no benefit in keeping the download reference
sites up to data.

You never wonder if sales might in fact have gone up if you kept the links
alive ?
50% seems a huge potential ... even if only a small part would ...

That was a worry at first. I compare the results with my other
products. They are still kept up to date on the download sites but
their sales have not changed. That's no real proof but what is?
